Claudia Rhoades : German-American Artist
BIOGRAPHY
Born April 10th, 1964 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Due to her father's occupation, Claudia has lived in countries such as East Africa, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Egypt and now resides in the United States since 1980.
Each country has given her a different inspiration to paint, to
use
their colors, their light, their daily life and in some instances their political outlook and has incorporated them into her paintings. Claudia has a tremendous respect for our nature and its people, and hopes that her paintings will remind the viewer of its wonder and beauty.
Working in oil, enamel, acrylic, mixed media, and collage, often incorporating objects and fibers found in nature. She chooses her media according to the subject.
Claudia currently lives in Dublin, Ohio with her two children.
